State Can Ban Prescription Data Mining, Appeals Court Rules

Data-mining companies have no free-speech right to buy and analyze prescription data in order to market drugs to doctors, a federal appeals court ruled Monday. The ruling clears the way for other states to mimic New Hampshire's landmark law prohibiting the widespread practice of buying and selling prescription information.br style="clear: both;"/
